When booking a hire party

A non-refundable deposit of £30.00 is required to secure the booking.  Deposits not received within 5 days of receiving payment link will result in the hire date being released. 

The balance is due 10 days prior to the party hire goods delivery date.  Balancing payments not received could result in the release of the hire goods being  postponed or cancelled.  It is the responsibility of the person booking the  service to ensure payments are made at the required times.  Any changes to hire good numbers, after the balancing invoice has been issued, cannot not be refunded.  Failure to pay the full invoiced amount will result in the hire service being cancelled.

All equipment/hire goods remains the property of poponin.

Risk in the hire goods and any products will pass immediately to the customer when they leave the physical possession or control of the poponin.

Risk in the hire goods will not pass back to poponin from the customer until the hire goods are back in the physical possession of poponin. 

Ownership of the hire goods remains at all times with poponin. The customer has no right, title or interest in the hire goods except that they are hired to the customer for the purpose agreed. Ownership of any products remains with the poponin until all monies payable to poponin by the customer for the hire service/products have been paid in full.

It is the responsibility of the customer to collect the hire goods from poponin and return them to poponin at the end of the hire period unless otherwise agred.  If poponin agrees to deliver or collect the hire goods to and/or from the customer, depending on location, there may well be a standard delivery and/or collection cost added. 

This hire service/agreement does not include the team of poponin unless otherwise agreed.   Any hire of ‘team poponin’ will incur additional costs.

 The Customer shall:-

Take reasonable care of the hire goods and only use them for their proper purpose in a safe and correct manner in accordance with any  instructions provided or supplied to the customer;

Notify poponin of any breakage, loss and/or damage to the hire goods;

Take adequate and proper measures to protect the hire goods from theft, damage and/or other risks; 

The hire goods must be returned by the customer in good working order and condition (fair wear and tear excepted) and in a clean condition.

If the hire goods are returned in damaged, unclean and/or defective state except where due to fair wear and tear the customer shall be liable to pay poponin for the cost of any repair and/or cleaning required to return the hire goods to a condition fit for re-hire/use.

The hire period of the hire goods will be agreed at the time of booking.  Where the customer is returning the hire goods it is their responsibility to ensure the hire goods are returned within hire period and to the agreed location, which is poponin, 94 High Street, Hurstrpierpoint, BN6 9PX 01273 833393, unless otherwise agreed.
